Payments & bank feeds

Stripe Connect, PayPal, Monzo links, and bank transaction import

Getting paid is more than sending a PDF. PetWalkly supports the payment rails UK pet businesses actually use — and can pull bank transactions into expenses so you are not typing every line by hand.

Stripe Connect is the recommended path: master admin completes Express onboarding once, and client portal checkout uses your connected account.

Bank feeds are optional — connect Starling or Revolut Business, link Monzo, or upload CSV statements when you reconcile expenses.

Stripe Connect (recommended)

Platform Stripe powers PetWalkly subscriptions; Connect powers your client payments separately.

  • Master admin starts Connect onboarding from company admin
  • Clients pay outstanding balances through the portal when Stripe is enabled
  • Legacy per-tenant API keys still supported if you already use them
  • Return and refresh URLs handled on your company subdomain automatically

PayPal and bank transfer

  • Enable PayPal in billing settings with your checkout URL
  • Bank transfer: show your sort code and account or custom payment instructions
  • Clients choose payment method on the portal when multiple options are on
  • Record payments manually in invoicing when money arrives offline

Monzo payment links

  • Generate Monzo links from invoicing for households that use Monzo
  • Optional Monzo bank feed connects your business account for transaction import
  • Tenant-level Monzo app credentials or host fallback — one OAuth callback for all companies
  • Works alongside WhatsApp invoice sharing when that is your clients’ preferred channel

Bank feeds into expenses

  • Starling: OAuth connect or personal access token from admin → Bank feeds
  • Revolut Business: JWT-based API connect with your Business API credentials
  • CSV import for statements from banks without a live feed integration
  • Imported transactions land in expenses for categorization and reporting
